Humble changed his nick! Does that give possum something to climb up and down? How tall does the Oak tree have to be?

BTW, the oaks in my backyard are huge and messy. No reflection on our friend a.k.a. Humble.

Speaking of trees, all my life I've heard of Christians meeting beneath an old brush arbor because they didn't have a building. I've never seen a brush arbor and I'm not entirely sure what they look like.

I love instruction number one. I guess the three little pigs didn't do many bonfires.

Happy Easter, the azaleas are in bloom, so are the dogwoods, and the forsythia and the grill has a pork roast on it, and asparagus will soon be there, too.

First the world was covered with yellow pollen from the pine trees. Now the world is covered with the spent flowers from said pine trees. What next? Pinecones all around?

On the bright side, today is the first day of the year that I left the house in short sleeves and no jacket.

I feel very honored. An old buddy that I haven't seen since HS graduation in 1970 and lives somewhere in NC just signed up on FaceBook and he chose me as his first (and currently his only) friend.

I'm thinking the amount of pollen trees throw out is part of the whole "world curse" thing.

I was so very "green" yesterday. A neighbor was trimming tall grass with a noisy smelly gas powered trimmer. I was using a nice quiet swing blade and getting plenty of exercise. Rawr.

REAL green would be using a goat to trim your grass. Plus, they come with built in green fertilizer.

The flowers are in bloom, the lakes are shining bright with their dancing waters, the birds are praising the Lord and I am eating lots of ice-cream. Gotta love it!
