Yesterday..."The Dark Don't Hide It" by Magnolia Electric Co. So depressing but those guys really jam.

Today...probably "Cache is Empty" by The Evens.

"The Minister" by the Move. Most people who like the Move prefer the Roy Wood songs, but I'm a big Jeff Lynne fan, and this is one of the best he did with this group. You can just hear the roots of ELO in this one.

Any of the songs I listened to by Secret and Whisper. Dang they are amazing... Songs that stick out are Spider Besider, Attacker, and Vanishings.

Every morning, I'm blessed by the song "Alpha & Omega" sung by Israel & New Breed and "Wonderful, Merciful, Savior" sung by Selah.

God is wonderful!

Not to be sappy or maudlin, but for me it was "The Star Spangled Banner" sung by a 13 year old girl at the opening ceremonies for a National AAU fast pitch softball tournament my daughter is playing in this week. She absolutley nailed a really difficult song to sing, and did it acapella. Nobody really sang along, and I think it was because they didn't want to ruin it for her. I wish I had caught her name, but I didn't. Completely unexpected for me, as I usually cringe any time I hear someone attempt the anthem solo, especially with no accompiment.

A bootleg live version of Greg Lake's "Watching Over You" from ELP's Works tour. I used to sing my niece to sleep with it.

Monday..."The Snow Leopard" by Shearwater...something about his voice just takes me back to some cassettes my dad had in the '70s. My son likes to watch the leopards in the video too.

Yesterday..."Tailspin" by The Jayhawks...guess they've been stuck in my head lately

Today..."Honey Blue" by Paul Burch...catching up on my NPR Song of the Day stuff

This is the best sone I've heard today, "Where Is The Love" sung by Black Eyed Peas! Often I'm inspired by the song and do believe that there's still love existing! At least, I could feel the Christian love from this website! Go to the site and check it out!

When the Crowds Are Gone by Savatage

Jon Oliva went on to Trans Siberian Orchestra fame
Did you know that the TSO mega-hit "Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12/24)" was first recorded by Savatage on their "Dead Winter Dead" album?
