The jobs belong to the business owner, not the employees. When an investor can't make a return for ponying up their own hard earned cash, they take the investments somewhere else. That's basic economics 101 and is a fact that does not change under any type of government be it Socialist, Marxist, Monarchy or a Republic.
Depends if it is a publicly traded company or not.

Actually, that's not the case.
There is no requirement today that employers offer health benefits - or any other benefits - for that matter (though the recently passed universal health care legislation changes that over time).
